myIGDIs (“Individual Growth & Development Indicators”) are a comprehensive set of assessments for monitoring the growth and development of young children. myIGDIs, pronounced my-ig-deez, were originally developed in a collaborative effort under the Early Childhood Research Institute on Measuring Growth and Development at the University of Minnesota. As of 2004, more than 35% of Early Reading First grantees used myIGDIs to assess child language and literacy outcomes. Today, myIGDIs are the only RtI-oriented early childhood measures and have been used across over 11,000 school settings. Furthermore, the myIGDIs assessment suite has recently expanded with a revised version of our early literacy measures, Literacy+, and all-new early numeracy measures.
